New Year, New Arrivals

The swearing-in of a new president last week is an opportunity to be optimistic and enjoy those new year feels. We have been looking forward to this day for a long time, and although 2021 has already felt like a long year, we are pretty excited to share the updates around here that got us cheering on 2021!

As I mentioned in my 2020 recap, even a tough year has its silver lining. It was during a year of pandemics and protests that we were reminded about the importance of kindness and doing what's right. That's where the More Kindness Please design was born, and this is our 2021 theme song on repeat. And obviously, we say please.

• Paint small rocks with inspirational quotes and fun pictures, and leave them in your neighbor’s yard. Check out the Rainbow Rock Project for inspiration.
• Make bookmarks with quotes from their favorite books, and leave them in library books when your kids return them.
• Cut out paper hearts and write kind and inspirational words, and tape them on someone’s door. Then ring the doorbell or knock on the door and run away!

What's your favorite statement?

In a year of fresh perspectives, we are ready to celebrate firsts. The first chance to hug our friends without masks. The first night out on the town with our loved ones celebrating birthdays, engagements, promotions, love. Waving flags at parades. Our littles are also celebrating some big milestones - the first female Vice President to start. In honor of this historical moment in our nation's history, we created the My First Madam Veep design ... and we are tickled pink for it!

• Free coloring pages from Cool Mom Picks with some female trailblazers, including RBG riding a unicorn. As it should be.
• Meena Harris just released Ambitious Girl, based on the true story about Meena’s mother and her aunt, Vice President Kamala Harris, and addressing the challenges faced by women and girls.
